We need to think about the bottom line and the balance of trade deficit that is being caused by the import of oil from Mexico, Canada as well as the Middle East! We are still going to be using oil/gas in some form or another for the foreseeable future. We should be doing so in the cleanest and most financially favorable manner.

My new Glass top Electric stove heats the same kettle of water faster than either propane or natural gas. Natural GAS is from the old technology and causes air pollution.

Could it be they are sold out to big oil?. I have written my senators but I get no answer back to my letters. Maybe, the same reason they turn a deaf ear to T. Boone Pickens. I think when Kissinger made oil agreements with the Saudis and that oil would be traded in dollars, he made a commitment we can't get out of.

They are again at the 1995 levels. They haven't continued to increase.

In Summer 2008, he was pushing wind power as oil spiked at almost $150/barrel. By November 2008 with oil falling below $50, wind power was no longer profitable so he announced that his company, Mesa Electric, had stopped erection of new wind turbines!

I drove a school bus that was natural gas powered. It took almost 15 minutes to fill up. Unless they come up with a faster way and better mileage I'm not interested. It would create jobs, installers for all the conversion equipment; stations and cars would need the conversions. It will cost everyone who converts money, stations owners and vehicle owners. The one variable how does MPG compare to gasoline?
