Much has been done toward the promotion of natural electric power. Here on Maui we have windmills on the mountainside and the use of solar power is becoming mandatory for all new construction. Sea current energy is moving forward and algae farming research is being done. Yes, the islands are perfect for electric powered vehicles. We have no cold snowy winters to contend with as well.

What was used in Hawaii for transport before the gasoline engine. The roads are narrow and dangerous in Maui. Then you add in the WOW-IE and the roads become narrow and Mellow Maui. Cannot be good for the bananas and the pineapple and taro plants. Maybe Sugar Cane likes the gasoline engines.
