If you haven't yet read the book "The Creature From Jekyll Island", you will find it very illuminating. It is probably the definitive work on the Federal Reserve. It took ten years to write but it is worth the effort. Your public library might have it. If your library does not have it, you might request that they purchase one. Libraries are appreciative of those who suggest book to purchase, because they usually buy books from lists supplied by publishers. If you are not successful, I will see if I can find one of my loaner copies and send it back with my son or daughter (They both live in the same area as you). Parts of the book read like a novel, but it is not easy reading; being about 900 pages. You will never look at politics in the same way after reading.
