Ten percent ethanol (E-10) is a good thing because it reduces the amount of poisonous carbon monoxide produced by all internal combustion gasoline engines. Increased amounts of ethanol (E-15 to E-85) produce no increased health benefits, significantly reduce mileage and CAN harm most engines (except Flex Fuel vehicles). Stay with E-10 and say: "No MORE feed or food for fuel!"

You're absolutely right. There's no point in complaining about bad fuel economy if we're not personally going to do anything to help ourselves. I liked driving V8s when gas was $1.00 / gal. No more of that for me.
